Brackley & District Bowling Club

Return to indoor bowls
It is with considerable regret that the Management Committee has had to make the decision not to reopen the Indoor Rinks at present. The situation will be continually monitored with a view to reopening in January if possible.
Further details can be found in the News section and Downloads sections (under the heading "COVID-19 Update To Brackley Bowls Club Members").

The Outdoor rinks are currently still open, and will remain so whilst weather permits. Members should continue to pre-book before using the Green.

The Indoor Rinks will remain closed until further notice.

Brackley and District Bowling Club has a friendly and active membership of well over 100 men and women.
In addition to bowling, the Club puts on a variety of social events. Under normal circumstances, we always like to welcome new faces, but the Club is unable to do this at present. If you are interested in joining the Club when possible, you can contact us by email via this website.

The Club has two bars, a large Function Room and well equipped kitchens.

The Club has 5 indoor rinks - three in one building and two in another. Both have had the carpets replaced in August 2019.
Various Indoor Leagues are played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Ladies night), Thursday and Friday evenings, and Thursday afternoons.

Roll-ups, when any members can turn up for a game, are held between 2pm - 4pm on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.

The Outdoor Green has up to 7 rinks, and is the largest in Northamptonshire
As with Indoors, there are Roll-ups, Internal and External Leagues and a number of friendly fixtures against other clubs

If you have never bowled before, but would like to give it a try, why not come along and see what the club has to offer? We have three qualified coaches - see Coaching page for more details.
